Azellon's business strategy revolves around research and development of the meniscal repair technology including proof of principle in a human pilot clinical trial (to be completed in 2011) and a pivotal trial (to be initiated in 2011/2012).

As a virtual company Azellon will be contracting cell production to an external GMP culturing facility and will actively be looking for commercialisation partners amongst the global and regional orthopaedic companies.
